Peru Itinerary
Day 2 Connect with morning flight to Cusco and transfer to the Sacred Valley. On the way to our beautiful hotel we will stop at the Chinchero market and visit the amazing Earth Altar. Overnight in the Sacred Valley. Day 3 Morning visit to Moray, an ancient Inca site with circular terraces built in honor of Pachu Mamma. Here our shaman will instruct you in walking exercises and a meditation in the center circle of this amazing power spot. After lunch we continue to the salt mines of Maras, a beautiful formation with purifying salts. Day 4 This morning visit the Pisac Market, then take the spectacular hike from the top of Pisac through the most magnificant landscapes to its beautiful temple below for ceremony. Overnight in the Sacred Valley. Day 5 In the morning we will visit the ancient Inka city at Ollantaytambo, and experience ritual at the temple that sits high above. In the afternoon we will prepare for a ceremony where we will be introduced to the Sacred Fire. Overnight in the Sacred Valley. Day 6 We will take the morning train to Aguas Calientes,check into our hotel, then enter the Rainbow City of Machu Picchu. We will complete our explorations with an evening ceremony at the Sacred Plaza of the Crystal City. Overnight in Aguas Caliente. day 7 During a full day of exploration at Machu Picchu we will have an opportunity to experience the plant spirit medicine of the Andes in a traditional Wachuma ceremony. In the evening we will steep ourselves in the baths at the Aguas Caliente hot springs. Overnight in Aguas Caliente.
Day 8 There is time for an optional return to Machu Picchu. Those unafraid of heights can perhaps climb to the top of Huina Picchu, the glorious pinnacle overlooking Machu Picchu. In the afternoon we return by train to Cusco. Overnight in Cusco. Day 9 Morning visit to Tipon, Temple of the Waters. After lunch in Cusco, we go to Amaru Machay, the cave of the Serpents for a birthing ceremony, then on to Quenqo, the sacred place of the Puma. Overnight Cusco Day 10 Today we will explore Sacsahuaman, a stunning site which holds the great house of the sun, and where the head of the Puma of Cusco resides. After our ritual there we return to Cusco to visit shops and galleries. Overnight in Cusco. Day 11 Morning visit to the Koricancha, the Temple of the Sun in Cusco. Enjoy an afternoon of free time and last minute shopping. We will have a closing circle/ceremony. Day 12 A coach ride through the Peruvian landscape to Lake Titicaca, stopping along the way at the magnificent Temple of Wiracocha. We will arrive at our beautiful hotel near Puno in the late afternoon.
Day 14 This morning we cross the highest navigable lake in the world to the island of Amantani. The spiritual leader of the community will led us in a despacho ceremony for Pacha Mamma. This night we share with the locals and stay in their homes. Day 15 Early in the morning we ascend to the temples of Pachatata and Pachamama where we present our offering to Pachamama and to life. After lunch we boat back to Puno and have a free afternoon. Day 16 Morning visit to the Andean Taj Majal, another sacred site for our closing ritual and circle, then transfor to the airport for our afternoon flight to Lima and transfer to your international flight home.
